Community Involvement

Socially responsible community involvement is central to iMining's corporate identity, and is an ethos we aim to instil in all of our companies. We are equally invested in the success of the local communities as we are in the businesses and projects we maintain; therefore, whether it be the purchase of computers for primary schools in Mexico, or sponsoring the restoration of historic buildings in Keno City, Yukon, iMining is committed to ensuring that our activities positively affect the local communities in our areas of operation.

iMining & Covenant House Vancouver:

Covenant House Vancouver (CHV) serves over 1400 at-risk and homeless street youth annually by offering a continuum of care including a drop-in centre, crisis shelter, and a transitional housing program. Through these CHV facilities, Vancouver's homeless and wayward youth are able to access the support, guidance and tools necessary to successfully transition from life on the streets.

Corporately, iMining has partnered with Covenant House Vancouver through sponsorships and the hosting of charity wine tasting events, "Making Change, Once Ounce at a Time", in an effort to ensure their invaluable humanitarian contribution to our community is maintained. iMining is very proud to continue its partnership with this important local charity.

iMining successfully hosted our second Charity Wine Tasting Event on June 4th, 2012. We are extremely pleased to announce that $38,500 was raised in support of Covenant House Vancouver through generous corporate sponsorships, a ticket sell out, and a superb raffle!
